Comment on Easy Jams Chutneys & Preserves

I find the book (as I found all the other books from the Harrisons' pens) a very comfortable and very comforting read. The reader can be inspired to leap out and gather the ingredients straight away, or simply dream of the polished, filled and labelled, jewelled jars on their shelves- to be done sometime in the future. The one that caught my fancy was elderflower jelly.  Too perfumed for turkey? (or just the very dab?)  time will tell. Thank you again

Peggy Mack

I'm not much of a chutney maker usually but I've had to rearrange my kitchen cupboards to store all the stuff I've made from this book. Good, clear instructions and quite a range of things to try. A godsend in the middle of an allotment marrow and tomato glut. It would make a great present too - as do the jars of chutney! I might branch out into jam soon.

Am Hill

A very easy to read book with loads of help, advice, recipes and what to do when you get it wrong. Would highly recommend to those thinking of how to deal with the glut of food in the fridge and freezer post harvest.

What a book!!! From the time it arrived I haven't put it down!

I've never made jams, chutneys ect before but can't stop now.

This book makes it so easy. Takes all the fear out of jam making.

Oh and not just jams ....but that's for you to find out when you get the book.

Mrs S Collett

This is not just another preserve book, of which I have several, but all the recipes are tried and tested by the Harrisons, their friends and relatives.

I have so far tried several of the recipes and they are very good.
