Finding Allotment: links to help you find an allotment
Most councils and local authorities in England and Wales have a department which deals with the allocation of allotments. It may not be called the "Allotments Department". Frequently allotments are classified under Parks, Recreation, Leisure or Services. You can always give them a quick telephone call.
I did have a link to a page with a list of councils to help you find an allotment but it dissapeared so I wrote a page about finding an allotment and trawled google to create the list.
