So it's well worth spending some time looking at the different varieties and going for something that will be productive and providing you with a good crop in years to come. Time spent to prepare the ground properly will repay you many times over.

Kiwi Atlas (Male)

An ideal 'suitor' for Hayward ensuring good pollination and heavy crops. 1 male will 'serve' at least 6 females. Plants are very attractive, but quite vigorous and need to be pruned to keep them in check. Supplied in a 1 litre pot, approximately 40cm (15") high.

Kiwi Hayward (Female)

Quite simply the sweetest and most succulent variety available. It reliably produces an abundant crop of good-sized fruits that are ready to pick in late summer. Plants are very attractive, but quite vigorous and need to be pruned to keep them in check. Supplied in a 1 litre pot, approximately 40cm (15") high.

Ideal if you have only room for one plant. It has very attractive red-tipped early growth, and its smallish fruits are freely produced in late summer.
