Nectarine Madame Blanchette

Tasty, juicy white flesh A nectarine of exceptional taste, with juicy white flesh and pale red-and-orange skin. Extremely widely grown in mainland Europe, it produces a vigorous tree giving large, regular crops. Plants are self-fertile, but do benefit from a little hand-pollinating due to lack of insects at blossom time. Grown on St Julien rootstock which is highly productive with medium vigour. It also makes trees less susceptible to frot damage.
