Rhubarb Plants

Fruit Trees, Nut Trees and Fruit Bushes

If you are going to plant a tree or bush, then it is going to be there for some years. So it's well worth spending some time looking at the different varieties and going for something that will be productive and providing you with a good crop in years to come. Time spent to prepare the ground properly will repay you many times over.

Rhubarb Stockbridge Arrow

With its good deep red colour, arrow-shaped leaves (hence the name) and high quality, thick stems (up to 60cm long when forced), this is a truly outstanding variety. Bred in Yorkshire, it produces a heavy crop (up to 6 lb per plant), with very few thin or waste sticks. Ideal for forcing and for outdoor production it is without doubt the best choice for exhibition, and attractive enough to grow as ground cover in the flower garden!
